Roundup: Casters, Casters & More Casters

010809-casters.jpg It's no secret we love casters. They make things versatile, mobile, and fun! We've been busy adding casters to some things around our own house to make it easier to sweep and thought a roundup of casters was in order. We love them so much, there's a boat load (how much is a boat load really? Are we talking yacht or dingy?) of great resources and links after the jump! Blue, green, wooden, vintage... the choices are endless!

I'm sorry, but I disagree; I just hate casters, despite their functionality! Whenever I see furniture with casters, I always find myself mentally removing them!

I love casters. Particularly on bookcases and other storage furniture. Then again, I like to rearrange. A lot.

I love the curve of a beautiful mid century furniture foot and I love, love casters. I like seeing the two together in one room.

Hm, I think I like those orange rollerblade type wheel ones. Theyd replace the old worn out hard ones on my office chair nicely.

I love casters and have a ton of furniture in my house that I put them on. I used the wood/black ones pictured on the ottomans and club chairs in my living room and the fun colorful ones are on everything in my office/studio from my desk chair to shelving units and even my etching press. I love the flexibility to move things around easily, especially when cleaning or when entertaining people can move things easily to socialize with each other. I highly recommend the people at cool casters where I bought all of mine.

I didn't know casters could come in so many different designs. This is awesome! I love the functionality of casters, but I adore the industrial aesthetic of them more. Our stainless steel kitchen work table came with awesome casters, but sadly they made the table too tall for me to work at comfortably so I couldn't use them.

I also love casters. I have my kitchen, my lounge, my wardrobe, my speakers and my sideboard on casters. In fact pretty much everything I have can be rolled around:
