Easily tucked into a small area, but providing coveted seating space, we’ve really warmed up to this unique furniture option—especially in these interesting selections…02.13.09 corner chairs thumbnail.jpg

bebsf, probably because its compact size and design would allow it to fit easily in a corner? geez, lighten up.

"probably because its compact size and design would allow it to fit easily in a corner?"

Um, no - a Corner Chair is a chair having an approximately square seat with a leg at each corner and a back extending around two adjacent sides. It's also known as a "roundabout chair"

Size has nothing to do with it, my friend.

how do you sit in these? with the corner between your legs? or with your legs closed scrunched up to one side?

I was also wondering the "proper" way you are to sit on these square corner chairs.

bepsf, luckily I'm not your friend. I think JessicaBlake's point here was "easily tucked into a corner."

What better to place in a nook than a chair like these? Who is up for a newspaper read and some tea?

Quit bickering. Everything I saw on a cursory glance at the American Leather site was atrocious. I happen to agree a corner seat is a corner seat, and just because something can be positioned in a corner is no reason to include it on the list. COMPADRES!

When I purchased a lovely sectional sofa set, there wasn't room for the connecting corner "unit" so I moved it into another room as a corner chair. Works and looks great!
