Roundup: Favorite Bathroom Accessories

03.27.09 bath roundup.jpgWe’re closing in on the end of Kitchen and Bath Month, and we thought we’d do a roundup of some of our favorite bathroom accessories from our favorite go-to shopping spots…

We're all going crazy for Orla Kiely's line for Target, but we found a set of towels over at Heals that we're fairly smitten with.

While we try not to incorporate too much shabby chic into our home all at one, a little bit of it mixed with some contemporary and modern touches appeals to the "girly-girl" part of our aesthetic without going overboard. We love the idea of this vanity with a bench that has a great contemporary graphic fabric cushion, from Target.

Anthropologie has a variety of gorgeous perfume bottles that we would absolutely love at our vanity (see above!) or on a shelf in our bathroom.

This bathroom set from Z Gallerie rings of Hollywood glam, and makes us giddy at the idea of putting them in a bold bathroom with colorful patterned wallpaper. Too much? Depends on how much visual stimulation you need in the morning to wake up!

Still our favorite full-length mirror, the Husnes from Ikea alludes to an ornate, Victorian style with shape alone. The baroque style is only implied, and keeps it a bit more minimal.

Urban Outfitters always has a great selection of shower curtains, and this Treescape doesn't disappoint. Did we mention they have this design in a bedspread, as well?

The towels and shower curtain are equally pleasing. I think I might have to track down those towels...

I love the mirror accessories, but not for actual use. I'd smudge them and have fingerprints to wipe off minute by minute. So much beautiful design really calls for servants to maintain it!

Yeah, vanity accessories that require the use of white cotton gloves to handle them are not examples of good design.

Those towels are super cute! They are not cheap when you do the conversion to USD and add shipping.

I have that mirrored tray in my bathroom and find that it works just fine. It doesn't need to be polished any more frequently than anything else there. Bought mine for $14 on sale at Cost Plus. It really adds some sparkle.

I would probably NOT buy the soap dispenser.

These bath accessories are indispensable for me. I bought all of my accessories from Ballard Designs and I recommend them to everyone.
