Sarcastic Accessories

We, ourselves, are pretty sarcastic at heart. When meeting new people and in professional situations, we try to keep our often cutting sarcasm at bay. But we have an inherent love for the acerbic, and have rounded up some of our favorite witty and snide accessories.

• 1 This pushy little toothbrush holder from Blue Q also happens to be a cute, vintage looking thing with a great script type. It reminds us of old tonic salesmen traveling west in the late 1800s.

• 2 Short and to the point, this coatrack from Urban Outfitters instructs visitors pretty specifically. It's one or the other...

• 3 Greener Grass Design sells this excellent doormat with a bit of denial...

• 4 These seemingly innocuous cross stitch kits from Fuldesign have snarky sayings disguised as your grandmother's crafts.

• 5 As lifelong Red Sox fans, we couldn't help but include this gem, from Etsy seller William Dohman, in spite of the wrath we are preparing ourselves for from our fellow Apartment Therapy readers in New York...

I have a toothbrush holder from the same company. Because I'm fighting a chronic disease that affects the mouth, I've got one with a skull and crossbones that says "Keep Smiling!"

The samplers are fun.

I'm afraid that Anti-Yankee dish towel is going to be a big-seller, not just in Sox Nation, but to those in the Great Divide in NYC that are Mets fans.

Sadly, with the expensive new stadium, the departure of Joe Torre, the ongoing spectacle that is Alex Rodriguez, and the blot on civilization that is the Steinbrenner family, even Yankee fans hate the Yankees. (Except for the Captain, No. 2.)

Haha...my husband has the skull & crossbones "keep smiling" & I myself own the "...I'll break your arm" one featured above. I love them...that way we don't have to have a scummy toothbrush jar anywhere...keeps them up off the counter top & the hole goes all the way through so they drain. :)

My doormat says "LEAVE". It totally works for my personality. I might have to look for the toothbrush holder. It is too cute. Then I will have to find myself a boyfriend whose arm I can potentially break for using my toothbrush. ;-)

This is a fun post! Much better than the last one about ethics of shopping cheap! I love the sarcastic accessories... now I think I'll look up some websites with more sarcastic accessories for fun!
