John Deere and Silence Rugs by Permafrost

Here in the Northwest we wish it were warm enough outside for this rug to feel refreshing, with its imitation of freshly stepped in snow. But the creative design is refreshing enough.

The John Deere, on the other hand, imitates trampled turf (in green) or mud (in a brownish-grey). Made of New Zealand wool, the 5' round rugs come from Norwegian designers Permafrost.

About $1700, here and here.

I'd like to see one similar to the top one done as the surface of the moon.

Ooooh, I love that snow one! So serene yet so prohibitively expensive.
