Trompe L'Oeil Floor Mats at Urban Outfitters

7-17-floor mat.jpg Probably this look is not for us, but it's a creative idea and might work for someone searching for a little visual stimulation beneath their feet. If you hate your floors it might be fun to do a patchwork of these a la this image...

You could get really creative and use several different patterns to do it, too. It could end up being kind of funky-cool, or possibly just funky. At $140 a pop, we'd be a little wary to try. Available online here.

I have carpet in my bedroom, something that I constantly struggle to come to terms with...I think these would be a fun tongue-in-cheek role-reversal. although, the price does seem a touch high for something that won't last (stay in style) that long and is, after all, from UO

It's beautiful but fake patinas get to me. I'd love to have the real wood be my floor instead of it being printed on polyester. It's an expensive cheap alternative, if that makes any sense.
