Woodstock Area Rug at Home Decorators Collection

8-14-floral rug.jpgWho knew a rug could be so much fun? This bold design of bright colors and floral patterns would be great for a kid's room... but we'd probably keep it for ourselves, thank you kindly.

It's available online here from the Home Decorators Collection (um, who knew?), and also comes in black and brown backgrounds, both much more muted. We think, hands-down, this one is the best, as the mix of colors works terrifically together and makes such a statement when paired with black and white.

I would totally get this because I think it's a lot of fun, EXCEPT for the little butterflies. I think they make it look too young.

Home Decorators actually has a pretty good selection of decently priced rugs - Does anyone have any experience purchasing from them?

Agree with SarahinATX about the butterflies. I love this in the brown, but worry that the motif could be a little immature.

I seriously contemplated this rug when rug hunting a few months back. I saw it in person at a local modern furniture store and couldn't afford it. But, I have since found it on overstock.com a number of times (not today though, I just checked) and it is about half the price there! I bought a rug by the same manufacturer (Surya) and have been quite pleased with the quality. Selectrugs.com has a number of their rugs and has frequent sales but overstock.com certainly has the best prices although I don't think you can search by brand.

I fell in love with this rug when I first saw it at Storehouse, which have since closed their doors.

Sadly, my other half isn't as taken with the design as I am. So, the search continues...
