If you’re in San Francisco or Portland, crafts should be on your schedule for this weekend. In Stumptown, it’s time for the annual Craft PDX: A Block Party, a free outdoor festival put on by the Museum of Contemporary Craft.
Whether you’re decorating pottery, contributing to a community embroidery project or watching artists demonstrate techniques in metal, glass, wood, textiles, basketry or beads, the event is sure to provide inspiration for your own art projects.
Look for the crowds, live music and beer garden in the North Park Blocks (NW 8th and Davis) on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
