I'm feeling rather flu-ish already....It's interesting that DWR made a big deal about their warehouse moving to Kentucky and there would be no more sales in the Bay area. I wonder if this is a new warehouse?

Yup, it's a new warehouse.

I Googled the address and found an ad leasing that address with immediate availability. The cache shows the ad was up on April 16, so if DWR is there now, they're either the new lessees or are renting the space for the weekend.

Thanks Wende, I hope they stay because that will mean more sales in future.

Does anyone know (if they have one there), how much an Aeron chair would be? As a student, DWR, is quite out of my reach, so was wondering if it is within a leap's grasp...

Also, I've nevere been to one before. Is it a madhouse, where people tend to show up first thing as they open the doors?

Thanks!

The Aeron chair is listed at $899 at the DWR website. But you may be lucky and find one at the warehouse sale. My experience with going to 2 past warehouse sales is that it is a madhouse, and stuff moves quickly...good stuff like Eames chairs and the like move very quickly. I remember renting a truck at the last minute after purchasing several items (perfect timing since I was a new condo owner), and shared the cost with another customer in the city. Lots of people seem to take time off work, so don't think a weekday will be slower. People probably show up very early. It's also a long wait to pay for the items, I think I stood in line for a good hour.
