Late-Breaking Event: The Dot Spot at Zinc Details

The first-ever Dot Spot will be launched next week at SF's Zinc Details. The Dot Spot is described as "a cohesive representation of Blu Dot pieces: a cool store within an even cooler store." Founders and designers John Christakos & Maurice Blanks will talk about the Blu Dot design process and be on hand to answer your questions -- and one lucky winner will walk away with a Blu Dot Strut table. (Wouldn't it be great if it turned out to be an AT:SF reader?)

I just visited Zinc Details at their 4th St. Berkeley location, and they are having a moving sale. I think everything is 10-30% off, most 20% that I saw. Even all that great Alessi stuff. The store is closing at the end of the month, they are concentrating on the SF stores.

Zinc Details! One of the places I truly miss from my days living in San Francisco. I had no idea they had expanded to multiple locations!
