We love buying handmade. It's a win-win: We're usually supporting small, independent artists and, at the same time, picking up goods that are one-of-a-kind. Which is why we're so excited about SF Craft Mafia's Mafia Made 2007, an annual shopping extravaganza that's happening this weekend. Here are the details:
• Sunday, October 21, 12-5pm
• Hall of Flowers (Golden Gate Park, 9th and Irving)
• Free to the public, $1 suggested donation to benefit SF SPCA
Be sure to show up early, as the first 100 shoppers will receive goodie bags. There will also be a raffle with many crafty prizes.
