With all this rain and a "chance of showers" sunday...what happens at the alameda antique faire when it rains? (besides getting wet). Are there less vendors?

It's up to each vendor to decide what to do when it rains (and they usually arrive there at about 3 am), but yes, there would probably be fewer vendors.
Personally, we haven't been when it rains in years -- it just sounds too miserable. But when the Alameda Flea first started, and was still small, we did go on a day it was supposed to rain (it didn't start until we were there) and we got a couple of great things (they're still among our most adored objects) at amazingly good prices.
