Storeroom Holiday Pop Up Shop: Opens Today

Today is opening day for Storeroom, a temporary holiday pop up department store of design put together by CITIZEN:Citizen. Here is the scoop:

San Francisco, we love you, and to prove it we've built a temporary department store for the month of December. We swung some favours with our favourite designers and their brands, from fashion to books, home to handbags and are offering up to 50% discount. So... come along to the Upper Fillmore district and get some retail relief from these credit crunched times.

Open seven days a week: Monday to Saturday 11—7pm, Sunday 12—6pm

That's the space that is supposedly becoming the new "Slanted Door Fillmore" - the owner of the restaurant is currently building a massive loft apartment above the storefront.

i stopped by last night on my way home from work and things weren't quite ready for the public yet.

but, what i saw looked really promising, and the people who were working to get the space ready and the stock organized couldn't have been nicer.

i will be sure to return later this week to check out all the goodies!
