- The Planning Commission of San Francisco will hear public testimony about the proposal to have the last standing Doggie Diner sign (located on Sloat Boulevard at 45th Avenue) made an official SF landmark. The more testimony heard in favor of the proposal, the more likely the sign will become a landmark

Gosh, the Doggie Diner! I didn't realize that one of the Doggie heads was still standing. I loved the DD growing up. If I remember correctly, there was one near the old China Basin building and another on Broadway across the street from Mabuhay Gardens...
