Paul McCobb Cabinet / Dresser for $270: This maple and iron Paul McCobb dresser is probably the antecedent of Room & Board's very similar (and similarly good-looking) stainless-steel mounted
Linear line, where a 5-drawer model costs $1,799. Seems nothing's new under the sun...

Antique Art Deco Carved Wooden Shelf Vintage Mirror NR for $1.95: This art deco find is proportioned well for mounting in a small entryway, where it would make an unusual check-your-face-before-you-leave mirror. Or create a soft welcome by adding a candle to the shelf.

MID CENTURY DANISH MODERN EAMES ERA 2-TIER TABLE for $40: We like the mid-century tiered end table design for its extra utility: you can perch a lamp or a plant on the top tier and still have room for books, drink, and other bedside or sofa-side essentials.

KAZUHIDE TAKAHAMA ITALIAN CHAIR MID CENTURY EAMES ERA for $170: This vintage Takahama chrome "Tulu" chair, signed and made in Italy, is from a Bay Area seller, so perhaps local pickup could bring down the overall price. A nice accent piece.
Please don't take offense, but I find this feature misleading. The McCobb dresser has a starting price of $270, but the auction estimate is between $3000-4250. Buyers who win a live auction must also pay a fee of 17.5% of the purchase price. This item could easily sell for over $3000. Why not just leave off the prices, or say, "Starting at $270" instead?
Thank you.
Great suggestion Anna N. We'll take note of it in future eBay Scavengers.
You're an enabler -- you know that, right? I just bid on the sconce. We have a 1926 Spanish cottage, and I'm always on the lookout for pieces that'll fit her.
