Am I the only person on the planet who thinks these chairs are awful? I mean, without cushions, they're uncomfortable AND give you waffle butt...

Jakelegs-- I don't dislike the Eames Shell Chair. I sat in them all through my childhood... they're functional, cool and painless. ;) I just think that the form and function should match, and it shouldn't hurt!
