SF Scavenger: Sofas for $50

Check out the lines on these vintage Sofas. Beautiful, right? If we didn't already have a sofa we love we'd be heading out to Danville right now to pick them up.

I wish I had room for those two sofas...

Am I the only one who finds the idea of buying a used sofa from an anonymous source gross?....

Here's a quick question for Elizabeth the blogger: what the sofa that you love like? We are on a seemingly endless search for the sofa to end all sofas...
Thanks!

I knew a 15 year old kid that thought living in a "used" house was disgusting. His father built houses for a living. He thought they tore down the house when a person moved out and built a new one.

Used couches might be disgusting. Always good to see and smell it person. A steam cleaner can fix almost anything.

I have Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams' "Claude" sofa in dark brown velvet:

. . . and I bought it used.
