AT:SF, Does anyone know where to find this stool?
-Melanie
Melanie,
That's the B-Pop Barstool. DWR sells the B-Pop Side Chair, but no longer sells the stool. We haven't been able to find it for sale anywhere else -- we think it was an exclusive.
Anyone else?
It was purchased from Design Within Reach, but they no longer offer this item. It was called the Bepop

I bought 2 of these at the DWR Warehouse Sale in San Francisco, there were a ton of them when I bought mine (all in varying states of condition). I'd keep watching craigslist, I've seen a lot of people reselling stuff that they bought there. DWR does still sell the chair version of the stool. http://www.dwr.com/product/b-pop-side-chair-laminate.do?keyword=bpop&sortby=ourPicks

Ikea makes a pretty similar chair in a basic beech wood that you could paint yourself. A cheaper, DIY alternative to the DWR option...

And, making your own might be nicer, too. When viewed up close, you can tell the colors on the Bepop chair are just printed on the final laminate layer. It looks a lot like decoupaged wrapping paper.
But, I must admit, from across the room the chairs look fantastic.

This is the official Paul Smith stripe (clothing designer). You may have luck looking into the pattern which may lead you to the chair. I purchased the B-Bop side chair for a client, and although it was on back order, the end result is beautiful. Good luck!!!

That looks like an eames-knockoff barstool with stripey contact paper on it. Doable!
