Looks like a plenty uncomfortable chair. For two grand! Holy moly. Hot or not? - not.

It greatly resembles backcountry camping toilets.
And also looks uncomfortable as hell.

Let's all remember this is primarily a TABLE (3 tables really) with storage that can also change into a CHAIR for when company comes over. Perfect for small apartments, I think.

I admit I am biased, being one of the two designers of the chair-- just remember it is a table first, a chair second.

AND why not just place a cushion on it for when you want to use it as a chair? We didn't design a cushion because it's actually very comfortable and our idea was to have many possibilities and not to limit the consumer with specifics. Right now, I am using one of our preliminary models as an entertainment center. Just think of the possible configurations.

*We are in the process of achieving non-profit status and the chair is much cheaper for qualified buyers, galleries, and schools (most of us artists qualify)

This is an awesome piece with many uses: storage, extra seating etc. I have sat on it and it is surprisingly comfortable. It would be excellent for a gathering where you need extra seating.
