Our preschool was all over the cable reel furniture, but that usually meant tables or rolling toys, that, in hindsight, seem terribly dangerous. David Meddings Design takes these industrial castoffs to make something far less perilous — a rocking chair.
The key to not rocking back on your head are the stops, made from a sailor's "blood" knot. The company is based out of the UK, and in the UK the shipping is included with the price, £435. They don't appear not to ship to the US, but this might be better as a DIY project anyway.
