We're always on the lookout for creative book storage solutions that don't involve cramming our precious novels onto a bunch of boring shelves. The Bibliochaise line of chairs and ottomans from Italian designers .nobody&co. is a perfect blend of reading-ready comfort and clever book storage...

Bibliochaise comes with built-in book storage compartments, so your favorite magazines and novels are close at hand when you snuggle up to read. It might take some effort to keep this looking organized, but the same is true of most bookshelves, and we love the idea of making the books a part of the display by adding colorful covers.

Bibliochaise is available in white or black lacquer, with cotton or leather cushions. The ottoman version, Bibliopouf, is a fun idea for a coffee table as well... with reading material stored beneath, you could eliminate the clutter that comes from having coffee table books and magazines out in the living room.

Visit the .nobody&co. website for more info about Bibliochaise, and to see more of their cheeky designs.

These are ugly and look like they'd be terribly uncomfortable to read in. When I read I *lounge* I throw my leg over the arm of my big squashy chair, I put my feet up, I slouch. These are terrible.

no to the chair. Maybe to the ottoman. maybe. the lines are awfully harsh.

The ottoman is meh, but the chair? Ugh. I wouldn't want to sit in it ever--it looks supremely uncomfortable. Plus ugly.

posts involving reading should have words like 'snuggly' 'cozy' 'curl up' etc...

Hate these! LOVE my floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall bookshelves. I consider them oversized art!

This is ridiculous. Coming from me, that says a lot.
