Take a chair made of expanded polypropylene, cover it with nanocrystalline copper, and what do you get? The limited edition CU29 Chair by Tom Dixon. (Does it look familiar? He gave away a bunch of the EPS chairs during last year's Trafalgar Great Chair Grab.)
For some reason I can't quite put my finger on, it is vaguely reminiscent of a commode! However the texture and tonality of the copper is lovely.
