CU29 Chair by Tom Dixon

Take a chair made of expanded polypropylene, cover it with nanocrystalline copper, and what do you get? The limited edition CU29 Chair by Tom Dixon. (Does it look familiar? He gave away a bunch of the EPS chairs during last year's Trafalgar Great Chair Grab.)

Moss presented the Studio piece at Design Miami. The signed and limited edition of eight pieces is sold exclusively at -- you guessed it -- Moss.

For some reason I can't quite put my finger on, it is vaguely reminiscent of a commode! However the texture and tonality of the copper is lovely.
