Gervasoni's Ghost 18 Sofa

On a day like today, when the wind's about to send us over the edge, the idea of curling up with a good book and a cup of tea sounds really good.

And Gervasoni's Ghost 18 sofa looks like one we'd just like to hide in. Designed by Paola Navone, its high back and sides provide privacy -- and perfect insulation from the noise of our own little mistral.

The Ghost 18 comes with removable covers, so you can choose a more elaborate look...

I don't know, something about the slipcover makes it look kind of ratty.

This is JUST what I have been looking for...it reminds me of the giant teacup sofa from 4 Weddings and a Funeral.

But, where to buy????

I believe they sell them at the Conran shop.

Lolo. Sorry, I didn't realize Conran only has one store in the US and it's in NYC. But could be ordered off their website.

I did testdrive one for someone a year ago. My comments are here:

Thanks for the link, Doug. Much appreciated.
Being 5'9", I really think I need to sit in/on one of them before I dive into purchasing.
I guess I need to plan a trip to NYC!!!!! Yippee!
