apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Soho Vega Sofa 1

2006_07_19_sohovega.jpgAh, the SF bay window. It lets in lots of light but can be hard to optimize, spacewise.

We're on the lookout for good ways to optimize not only the extra light, but the extra floor space.

Curved furniture, even if it's not custom-fitted, is one way to integrate a bay window into a room without sacrificing too much floor space. The Soho Vega 1 sofa is 70" wide and has a curved shape and a low price. (Available for $599, here.)

Other good ideas out there for bay windows? Send us your pics!

I've always thought that the sectional curved wedges would work well alone in spaces like this...

We're moving this week to an apartment with 3 bay windows, including a 270˚(is that what you call them?) bay window.
I've searched the 'net till my fingers bleed, and haven't found a single curved couch to solve this problem.
The Soho Vega 1 is the only sofa so far.
(The R&B sectional would be great Kellen, but $$$)
