One Earth One Design is a sustainable lifestyle store located in the heart of Seattle's Greenwood neighborhood. One Earth One Design is a three-pronged business: a retail store, and online store and a green interior design firm. They specialize in sustainable residential and commercial design, employing healthy building materials, finishes, methods, and products.
But for us lay folks, it's a reliable online source for green bedding, carpeting, furniture, cabinets, cleaning products and little touches for the home. And if you live nearby, in-store events include a monthly environmental film night, cooking classes and artist receptions.

We've taken a cooking class with Becky Selengut here, and we also bought our low-flush toilet from them. They are terrific and definitely worth the trip. Head farther north on Greenwood Ave. to hit Central Market. It's fantastic!
