Sue me but I love it when neighborhoods—especially industrial ones evolve. So I’ve been pretty hot and bothered lately ‘cause everybody’s yapping about Dogpatch. And with Esprit Park debuting its luxury condos this fall, looks like the tipping point is upon us.
Dubbed a restoration and reuse project by Jon Worden Architects, the complex combines two brick and timber warehouses built in 1906 and six six-story high tech steel towers. The mixed use urban infill project has commercial units said to house offices, a restaurant, and fitness center. The original brick building once housed the Schilling Wine Cellars, and more recently, Esprit Company HQ. The Esprit Park website promises sustainable landscaping, recycled materials, and prices that start in the “low 600’s.”

Nice article Allison, however I would like to know more, and if possible see more pictures. For instance, there are many rehab projects in the Bay Area, what makes this project so different from them and other expensive developments around SF?

I know there's a word limit, but I also feel like this wasn't really fully treated. I'm not sure why the Esprit Park is supposed to interest me, and the tipping point of what is upon us?
