On January 20th we were lucky enough to attend an opening for a wonderful group show at Traywick Contemporary in Berkeley. The exhibition showcases three artists: Diana Guerrero-Macia, Lena Wolff and Kelsey Nicholson. All of the work really complemented each other using material and themes that made us think of home and walks in the woods.

While we loved all of the pieces in the show we were especially inspired by Kelsey Nicholson's instillation. She recreated a rural landscape using wood veneer, plastic foliage and collaged paper birds. We loved it so much that we really wished we could have it installed in our apartment. After talking with Kelsey for a while we learned that she will be doing just that in her own home just as soon as the show comes down. Lucky girl.
