Chrome Over Tank Magazine & Tissue Holder from Space Savers

3-7-overtanmagholder.jpg
Until we get the spacious bathroom of our dreams we're stuck improvising storage solutions in our tiny one. We picked up a similar magazine & toilet paper holder from our local hardware store a few months ago and think it's a great storage solution that capitalizes on otherwise wasted space - what else could possibly go right next to your toilet tank?

We know that reading in the bathroom grosses some people out, and so this would be a no right off the bat for them, but we like the ability to hold some reading material as well as two rolls of TP within easy reach.

Available from Space Savers for $14.99.

It just seems so nasty...Too close to the bowl.

Oddly, this does not gross me out. I quite like it. It looks tidy and is very practical. I too have a teeny-tiny loo and I am always looking for ways to capitalize on the space.

My cat would have those rolls of TP in her little paws in no time. Unfortunately, the litter box would be right under this.

Unforch, my toilet tank is so wedged into the World's Smallest Apartment Bathroom(tm) that not only can nothing go alongside it, the very walls up against which it is pressed were smashed by a hammer during installation to let the tank fit, sitting *in* the walls in places.

Quality!

There seems to be an obsession lately with reading while "in disposal." Yikes!

Lately?? It was certainly an age-hold past-time in my house growing up and in my home now as an adult! We call it "the morning sit." As in, "Mother exits with the latest copy of Dwell in her hand, 'I am going to go take my morning sit now.'"

I like it more for the aesthetics. The toilet (the side of it) is the first thing I see when I go into the bathroom. If I can look at this instead of the toilet, then it works for me!

i practically had a dry body heave looking at that hair brush on the toilet tank. nasty! also, every time you flush, germy particles rise into the air. that's what you'd be manhandling as you flip through the pages. double nasty!
