That would be really cool for a kids room

reminds me of the traumatic days of macrame and closets full of moth balls ... pass!

I like it. It reminds me of Dave McKean's collage work for Sandman during the 1990's.

Ack, the off-center look makes my head hurt...and all those little mismatched compartments beget little mismatched objects to fill the compartments. Not my style!

his is so cool! I love the asymmetry of the storage unit!
Certainly something that would catch your eye as you walk into a room.
Thanks for sharing this!

i'm on the "love it" side of things here!

I don't really mind the asymmetry, but not a big fan of things that look like they'll fall over. This looks a lot like this shelf unit made of reclaimed wood and furniture parts:

They have a look I don't know how to feel about. Personally, too unstable in appearance. Might be alright with straight sides. I can't say this wouldn't appeal to people but I wonder how long until they got tired of the theatrical gimmick. Break free from furniture that is a certain economy of dimension! Project chaos and mayhem and unfortunate childhoods!

I love it and want it badly! I figure it would be fairly simple to recreate (on a smaller scale) using all sorts of little square shelves, or by even building them yourself.
And why does everything have to be so sleek and centered and perfect all the time... I prefer the unusual in design.

This just looks so cluttered to me. I couldn't stand looking at it every day.

I like it but it would just drive me to buy stuff.
Now, whenever I'm in a store and want to buy something I always stop and think, "But where am I going to put it?" This usually stops me from buying the item.
With this huge contraption I wouldn't even have to ask myself.
I think it's a great item for hoarders and compulsive shoppers.

Your bookshelf is going to make you a hoarder? Seriously... some peeps need to get a grip!
I'm on the love side as well, although unless the pieces are secured to each other I might fear this one toppling.

They appear to be secured as a solid unit. I just dislike things that look like they're going to fall because they were stacked haphazardly. Uneven shelving might be ok (with me and my aesthetic) if they didn't simulate individual boxes placed any which way.
