We found this rather cute coral-red coat rack on a strangely auto-translated Japanese blog, and thought we'd share. One of the things that surprised us how appealing and functional is was at various stages in its construction — with less branches, before the red paint.

"...with less branches..."
With Fewer branches - Please, Grammar counts...

That first pic looks like it's a miniature coatrack in a doll house...
They must have some balcony to get that perspective...

Ok, after reading those "directions" I still have absolutely no idea how to put this coat rack together. Mostly because the directions are A) Not very detailed and B) not written in English, but instead written Japanglish.

"Japanglish" haha.

Ha! I logged on specifically to say it's "fewer" branches, not "less branches" but bepsf beat me to it! Grammar certainly DOES count.

heehee - Wendy J and bepsf should probably *not* click the link and read the actual blog instructions if they find the less/fewer issue is frustrating. LOL... Is it really auto translated? How does that work?

teeze: The creator of the coat rack was using what is called a "tilt shift" lens - it gives pics that weird miniature look.
