One thing I always wondered about Flor carpet...do they move apart easily? Or, are they secured together somehow?

They are secured together underneath the tiles by sticky dots. They include 1.5 dots per tile and you can purchase more if you need them.

FLOR has a proprietary system that holds the individual tiles together - in reality just an circle of double-sided adhesive material that keeps things from moving.
