Can anyone ID the paint color? I'm wondering if it would work in my living room.

Hey Boomer -- No, it's not meant to say something is a cliche, it's just a way of pointing out design objects and trends that are making the rounds (i.e. blogs and glossies) all of the sudden. I totally do it in fun (and it is not meant to be mean or nasty at all), and that's why I like to admit which trends have sucked me in as well.

I think the idea sprouted when I saw an early issue of Domino that listed things photo stylists always seem to use, like birch logs and The Cabinet of Natural Curiosities. For instance, try to make it thorugh three spreads of coffee tables or bookshelves without seeing the Tom Ford book proudly displayed (yeah, I have it too - it's super hot and so is Tom!)

That's a cool sink! We're about to redo a bathroom and will need a sink that's not too deep (i.e., distance from lip of sink to the wall, not the height of the bowl). Does anyone know where I could find a sink like Elisabeth's, or similar? She doesn't specify a make/model at her blog.

Thanks!

Hi MamaChilanga and Angie -

I need to go double check on the paint colors - we changed our mind at the last minute and I can't remember the names, but they're both from Benjamin Moore.

The sink is original to the house, which was built in 1935. I'll get the name of the maker and post it here soon.

Thanks everyone, and let me know if you have any more questions!
