I agree. Why did AT decide that ONLY 3 pictures are allowed. I love your place but it just doesn't give the "whole" picture of your pad.

Great use of space -but I only gave it a 'COOL' because one of my pet peeves is used here - you claim you have this wonderful view -but then block it with your bed. Why not put hte sofa near it so you can enjoy it in the DAYTIME and your guests as well? you have a perfect sleeping nook where the couch is!

that first photo is impressive, but you know...if you're only allotted 3 photos to wow AT with, this may not work to your advantage. having said, your credenza is gorge! however, things looks a bit cramped (i.e. chair wedged in next to credenza...)

the chairs and the bag in the middle of the room do nothing for me. it all kinda feels boring, sorry. or maybe its just that i've never really liked those chairs....

It's cool and clean, and I like the overall aesthetic, but I think the space would benefit from a different layout. While there are some very, very nice things in this space, the apartment still feels to me like a white box.

thanks for someone pointing out the question of why AT is only allowing 3 photos. I have been wondering the same thing. It's driving me crazy, because I can't really tell from the 3 photos much about the entries.

I want to walk up to the window though, to gaze at your amazing view,but with the bed there you can not. The bed is the focal point. And you can not easly access your only functioning window, you might want to put your bed in the niche where the sofa is,as to open up that
"picture",and create a cozy living space when seated or standing you can see out your beautiful picture.
You have some beautiful things, congrats on a great space.

I like the overall feeling. It needs a bit more thought into editing and layout. All the elements are there otherwise.

great pieces of furniture, but the layout you choose looks odd on the floorplan and the pictures. I have to agree with all the "re-arrange" talk.

I love your individual pieces, and the bike too (I also have a white carbon fibre road bike in my place). BUT I really think your furniture layout is terrible. The reason I think that is that your place looks much, much smaller than it is. 575 sq. ft. is not small. I know, because I live in about the same size place. Your place feels so small because it feels like you're in the bedroom the whole time. It feels like a dorm room to me, for that very reason.

I really think you should put the bed where the sofa is. Then you'd be left with a small, efficient bed-area, and a nicely sized living room that flows well. Have you tried that layout before? I know first-hand that what looks good on paper doesn't necessarily work in-person - but on paper, this really looks like it would improve the space.

like pp i would rearrange, and hang the pictures on the floor - or at least move them a bit so they don't look like they're waiting to be hung...and yes, the bed is the focal point, too bad b/c i too am wanting to look out the window!

you have great pieces, but this place feels oddly smaller than the other larger end entries (#31 - Paullchik's Light Long Views and #19 - Laure's Sparkling Space). why have the dining table face the bed? I like Vinny's suggestions... that way the dining, living area can really enjoy the view, and the bedroom would be more intimate and cozy.

I'm reminded of the opening scenes from "Ghost in the Shell."

i just don't get it, and this apartmetn is a great example: why put the bed in front of the window??? I've seen this now in so many (mainly american ) apartments featured here. If there's only one window, i ( and most europeans would ) put the living area near the window and light, because, the bed is for sleeping and who needs lights for that ?! And for this apartment it is even more astonishing as the owner highlights the view but actually cannot take profite of it because there's no access to it!

my favorite element...the yellow paintings/pillows. I have a new found love for the color yellow; this reinforces it...

Yep. The pillows that explode onto the wall canvas are my favorite things too. Very striking set-up. Nice work!

I like the bed where it is... and the "American" tendency to put the bed there is not about the window, necessarily, but perhaps because that is the farthest point from the entry...
I think we are hard-wired to want to sleep "farthest from the cave opening" as possible... even if it is under a window.

I'd ceiling mount a sheer panel to fall between the foot of the bed and the desk. Make a "room" out of the bed, create some separation and mystery

And even if only for the photos, I would have placed the two yellow pillows on the bed. The stylist in me!!!

I like it, but like someone said before, the seating area (sofa) sould be where the view is... you could have a large coffee table there where you could eat and work. I find that high table on top of the bed a strange place to eat?

The kitchen is "cucine." The fridge is "sub zero." Is that - sniff, sniff - is that "pretention" I smell?

All kidding aside, I greatly admire your taste, but - once again - don't see enough of your space to render an opinion.
