The AT Mothership has charged each of the four city sites this month with including an art-for-a-local-charity auction in the proceedings for AT's annual Art month.
Here at AT:SF we're feeling uncharaacteristically hesitant about jumping on the bandwagon -- but only because this wonderful idea comes so close on the heels of a similar local (and wildly successful) effort, the Kim Family Auction, which was spearheaded by reader Lisa Congdon.
We have a great charity in mind (Drawbridge, an arts organization for homeless kids that was just destroyed by a fire) and we're raring to see what we can do to help them, but before we start organizing, we're wondering if there's still enough goodwill and give-away spirit out there among our local readers (including the gallery owners and artists out there to fuel another effort like this. So let us know...

I'd love to donate something for DrawBridge.. they are wonderful.
I would love to donate something, and I know some other local artists who probably would as well.
meredith, i bought one of your tiny pieces at open studios and i *adore* it. your work is just lovely.
If you'll accept "non-local" artists, we'd be happy to donate something.
What types of art will you accept for donations? Modern only or all styles?
I'd be happy to donate some art!
I'll definitely donate, just as long as you don't have a problem with the content of my work...
Hi Rucy, Type is irrelevant. Why don't you email me a link or an image?
