For whom do you feather your nest? Apparently SF has the fewest number of kids per capita of any American city (and yet California is the best state for babies.)

There's a rumor that SoMa was developed as lofts so the city wouldn't have to come up with cash to open elementary schools in that neighborhood.

Thanks for finally asking... but one point of criticism: you didn't give us option to say if we had more than one kid (ie a plural option?)

Have a baby and, after 15 years in SF, we're moving to the East Bay! We'd stay here if there were better schools.
