Industrial-style tables and casegoods have a lot of appeal for thier clean lines and bright, smooth surfaces, but it can be hard to find vintage pieces where some element isn't off somehow — awkward dimensions, unattractive laminate, or too much resemblance to a doctor's office. While we'd still prefer to hunt down something used, this line has a lot of appeal.
The storage unit would make a great landing strip, and the counter-height desk could extend kitchen storage in a small space, with a little work area built in. These pieces are being marketed as kids' furniture, but that's never stopped us from applying anything to a grown-up space.
