We're big fans of multi-purpose furniture, so Levenger's cherry reader's wing table strikes us as a great idea: this is an end table with a mission.
For starters, there's plenty of room for books and magazines on the angled, lipped shelves. Then there's the top, a double surface with a top half that swings around 360 degrees so that you can bring it over your lap, for tip-tapping away or for reading one of the many paper tomes below, or maybe just for preventing the spilling of your drink.

hmm, I wonder where we can buy these locally...
Perfect for breakfast in bed if you use it as a nightstand ;-)
wow - love it.
Levenger's stuff tends to look good, but wear badly. I bought several of their pieces, at one time, but found that they did not last. Screws came loose, joints came apart, legs and wheels got rickety. I stopped buying their stuff, because it was money poured down the drain. Their goods don't even have the purdah that IKEA apologists hide behind: "What do you expect for $35?"
TOO BAD THE JAVA APPLET DIDN'T LOAD CORRECTLY ON THEIR WEBSITE. Maybe if they used Flash, or better practices in webdesign I could look at an enlarged image of that bad-ass table!!!!
ok, otherwise, it would be perfect for my laptop-addicted husband/computer/IT consultant. Yes, he is slash-computer. But, I fear he would break it before he could use it fully.....
Any idea where I can find a desk like this for a more cost-effective price?
