Bay Area furniture designer William Earle's Radulph Table isn't your ordinary flat pack, ready-to-be-assembled furniture. It's made of highly polished 3/4-inch lucite, and Earle creates each one to order.

Same. I'm interested in the sofa too... perfect for my post war apartment I think!

I've noticed a lot of interest in clear plastic living room tables on these sites... including one that was custom made and costs thousands of dollars (who are you people?) Anyway my local BOVA furniture store had a cool lucite coffee table for around $300 - $400. I don't see it on their site but if anyone is interested I'll look for it. That way if you still have $5,000 burning a hole in your pocket you can give it to your nearest homeless shelter!
