Bamboo Candlesticks from Sears

3-10-08-candlesticks.jpg

Even though we own an original vintage set of teak candlesticks in the style these are copying, the classic Danish momma-poppa-baby design never fails to get our attention.

These are part of the Ty Pennington Style line at Sears, and sustainable bamboo is substituted for the traditional hardwood, and a plumper line replaces the willowy one of the original.

And you can't beat the price at $17.99 per set, here.

Even though we have something better, these are also worth a mention.

Buying vintage originals is even more sustainable than buying these new imports...

Very good point, bepsf — it's hard to keep in mind sometimes!
