Bamboo Type Coasters from ACD

If you're a type nerd like us, you may appreciate these bamboo coasters designed as a jumble of letters in Baskerville semibold. We'd consider hanging them as well, for a little vignette of typographic texture on a narrow wall.

The coasters come in a set of four, and each one is slightly different to maintain the random look when stacked.

LOVE these- but I'd have to paint them fun colors and lacquer them.

These are cool but would be even cooler in clear acrylic with bright colors on the side surfaces.

...

Maybe.

Doesn't a coaster with holes defeat the purpose?

Seriously? OUT OF STOCK?! AT, why must you torture me?
I want these. I've been putting off buying coasters for almost 6 months and I finally find the ones I want and I can't have them... sadness.

Yes, finally. You have found coasters for me that do not look like ugly little coasters. These would look very at home on my coffee table.

These are gorgeous. As for functionality, I think that keeping the bottom of a glass off the table helps a lot, although I'm sure that there are drips due to the holes and because the coaster isn't made of an absorbent material like cork. I wonder if something like this even could be cut out of cork.
