I find it a little disturbing. Plus, it looks like it would be a little awkward to drink from.

drinking glass??? I don't get it- It is very large for a glass of wine. Plus, imagine finger prints all over the little tubes (ewww!). Maybe it would work as a bud vase? Regardless, I wouldn't want to have to clean it.

The purpose of a decanter is to allow the wine to breathe by exposing it to oxygen. That's why decanters typically are designed to have a wide bottom. This strikes me as design for design's sake.

1500 euros for shipping? That's $ 1,906.35. Maybe the press release isn't exactly accurate.
But at the link provided by UWSretreat, this info shows up:
Petit Coeur / Little Heart
(verre à boire, drinking glass)
hauteur : 20 cm
Contenance : 20 cl
matière : verre borosilicate
prix : 1500 euros transport
édition limitée (8 numérotés et signés 4 épreuves d'artiste)
hight : 7.9 in.
content : 20 cl
material : borosilicat glass
price : 1500 euros shipping
limited edition ( 8 numbered and signed 4 artist proofs )
So,it's a carafe, not an individual glass. Not at over 7 inches.

I find it to be beautiful. I thought it was a decanter. Oh well, for that price, I guess it could also be a flower vase, and maybe it can walk my dog and if not it should.

20 cl = 6.76 oz. I believe the average pour (e.g., in a restaurant) is 5 oz.

Wine glasses have large openings so the drinker can smell the wine. Using a test-tube wide opening ruins the experience.
