We don't usually use a saucer with our morning mug of tea. Instead, the tea bag finds itself on the side of our breakfast plate, steeping in the cup too long, sitting in the sink, or, on particularly bleary mornings, making stains on our wood counter top. All to prevent the need to wash one more dish or make an extra trip to the garbage. Not a problem with the pouch mug.

Won't it be hard to wash the "pouch"?

This is pretty neat. Annady, you can soak it in bleach. I bleach all my cups every so often to get rid of the tea stains.

Cute idea, but isn't it too narrow for the soggy teabag once it's been used? And what about the spoon?
My trick (and this takes a little dexterity) is to leave the teabag tag attached to the whole outer flap that wrapped around the teabag - so it looks like you have a giant flag hanging off the side of your cup. Then, once your tea is steeped, pick up the tag on one side, while draping the wet teabag over the end of the spoon on the other, and catch it in the crease of the large tag. Pull out your spoon, squeeze out any remaining drops into your cup, and wrap the rest of your tag around the damp teabag. Set little package neatly on your upturned spoon.
Let me tell you how upset I was when Twinings changed their packaging earlier this year. The packaging is much sleeker, much less oldschool, and probably much more resistant to mildew and funky cabinet odors.

wouldn't the tea bag drip on your face when you are drinking from the cup?

I'm picturing burning myself as I try to shove a hot wet teabag into that narrow space. I'm thinking it's more for dry teabags?

Personally, I prefer a teacup and saucer. You have a place to put your used teabag (if you didnt pour your tea from a teapot) and a place for a spoon and a cookie, if you choose. Plus it's so much more elegant!
