If you don't already know about our Fall Colors Contest, I want to peak your interest. Here's three very different, very noteworthy entries in our Northwest category which - I think - represent the cutting edge of this year's contest. Of the four, one is still on track to win the whole thing. I'll let you figure out which one it is. Enjoy!

Should be "'pique' your interest". These are all great entries, and it's a shame they all can't be finalists.

Yes, it should definitely be "pique."

The difference between the contest we have and the contest we could have had is an abundance of color.

I was JUST going to post about the use of "pique"!!! Happy to see you guys are just as grammar happy as I.

I agree with K T G (as usual). On the whole, this season's contest entries have been on the drab side and the voting rules ponderous. I hope the editors have listened to our many views on this and will improve the next contest.
