How'd we first find Bay Area photographer Adriana Podesto Fracchia's work? We can't remember. But because of some strange days we've had lately -- rain in July, an earthquake this morning, several losses we've suffered -- when we came upon her site bookmarked on our computer this afternoon, her lovely, simple photographs really called out to us.
Fracchia's photos center on her home, on "the unadorned subjects of the everyday." She writes that "BEING HERE is a series of photographs that appreciates the simple, quiet moments in life." That seems just right, especially at this time.
