A picture on a shelf in this post from Decor8 immediately captured our hearts. It turns out to be by Angie Lewin, a UK-based printmaker whose work includes lithography, silkscreen, etching, lino and woodcut and wood engraving.

Her prints have a vintage, slightly washed out feeling, but the muted colors only serve to offset the occasional pop of vibrant color or the strong geometry of her patterns. Lewins themes are primarily botanical, but unusual seaweed makes an appearance in several pieces.

Lewin's prints are affordable at 50-100, and purchase information can be found on her website.

This woman's work is really beautiful and she has a website - http://www.angielewin.co.uk/index.htm - and a blog that's cool also. She does fabric, too, that's really nice.
