The Gallery: Prints and Paintings by Jenn Ski

There are many aspects of art that move us, but we find that use of color is one of the first things we really respond to when looking at a piece. It goes as no surprise then that we are so taken with these prints from Jenn Ski. We feel like we could build a whole home around the color schemes found in just one of her prints...

So great to see her on AT. I just saw a post on another site today with photos of her home- gorgeous! You should feature that on here as well!

Sorry to throw a wet blanket over the love parade, but a good portion of this art blatantly rips-off Rex Rays' work.

Oh, I definitely see similarities between her and some of Rex Ray's work. (I'm a fan of his as well) When I first saw her work, Rex Ray did come to mind. Ray's work has a much broader range, however. Jenn's work seems to have a more specific mid-century/ modern design aesthetic to it.

I love the first one! Those are almost the exact colours of my living room and kitchen! Awesome!

If you can like Jonathon Adler, you can like Jenn Ski. They both make nice things, but they definitely have a derivative feel about them.
