Escapes Month is long gone, but after catching a glimpse of this 300-square foot, post and beam beauty, we wish we had a little more vacation time stockpiled.

We’re not sure where it’s located – {frolic!} simply says, “up North,” which could be Washington, Canada or beyond – but we do know that it was built without power tools and includes a sleeping loft, water pump, outhouse and outdoor shower.
Photos of the interior would have been nice, but just a quick look at the outside of this “little house on the prairie” puts us in a reflective, relaxed mood…even without the time off.
Awesome.

Thanks for the post! The cabin is in SouthEastern Washington State. Here's a little sneak peek of the inside: http://www.flickr.com/photos/chelseaf/2887065382/
