Best Subway Tile Sources

1-14-subway tile.jpg

AT:Chicago's post on subway tiles last week reminded us that while we were doing our year-end reviews, there was one post that popped up as being incredibly popular every single month: Good Questions: Source for Subway Tile. So we thought we'd round up some sources in one place here:

  • SubwayTile.com (they're associated with both Subway Ceramics.com and BungalowTile.com)
  • Modwalls
  • Frigo Design

  • American Olean at Home Depot and Lowe's
  • Bedrosians (see a list of locations here)
  • Fireclay Tile (San Jose)
  • Floor Depot (San Francisco)
  • Tileshop (Berkeley, San Jose, Los Angeles; online through Berkeley showroom)

Wanted to know if there was a source for the mirror in the picture? Have been on the hunt for a new one and this would be perfect for my bathroom.

For people in the SF area I would add the Heath factory store.. I just took a tour and could not believe the gorgeous tile overstock for up to 80% off. My friend and I were desperately trying to think of something to tile... amazing stuff.
