TileVault: Colorful Penny Rounds

cointiles2.JPG
  • What: The ladies' room at Farina restaurant in San Francisco's Mission District.
  • Where: 3560 18th Street.
  • When: Photo taken on Thursday, October 25.
  • Why: As Color Month at AT draws to a close, it seemed fitting to share a photo of this tile treatment. We love the combination of the bright paint color on the walls, the slightly-lighter-shade-of-green square tiles, and the medley of green and yellow hues in the penny rounds.

Never, ever, ever thought I'd see this insane tile anywhere else. We put it in our bathroom earlier this year, and LOVE IT! It's actually much more saturated-looking in person - the from-above angle shown above is closer than the angled one. Ours: http://www.flickr.com/photos/33173744@N00/1810054410/

LizzyBH - Your bathroom looks great! I actually like the green on your walls better than Farina's.

Lovely bath, LizzyBH. Where might you've bought your tile? We are currently planning a bathroom remodel.

Lucky you, anh-minh, to be dining at Farina.
