TileVault: Sonic Boom in Seattle

1-22-08-tilevault-2.jpg

What: Early 1900's storefront tile
Where: Seattle, WA
Why: One of the modern businesses that occupy the row of historical storefronts in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood is Sonic Boom, a Seattle institution in and of itself. The tile in the doorway reminds us of the older pedigree of the building, which now houses a Thai place, a Greek restaurant and two music stores.
